Explore the exciting world of Glass Art and develop your own voice through the medium. Private Lesson Students enjoy 2 hours of Slumping and Fusing at a local Glass Art Studio. Learn to cut sheets of colorful glass and arrange them for firing in a kiln. Private Lessons are completely customized to the student(s). Each Private Lesson begins with a brief safety talk and project demonstration. Then students design and create their own Glass Art Projects.

Kilnwork Private Lessons are designed for 1-4 people, and that is up to you. This is not priced per person. The price is for 2 hours, regardless of how many guests arrive. Each beginner project tends to take 20-30 minutes. One student can make up to 4 projects or we can accommodate up to 4 people and each person can make a project. The average amount for 2 hours is 4 projects.

For a first-time Private Lesson, choose from coasters, pendants, earrings, wall hangings, sun catchers, hanging ornaments, or a small dish.

For repeat Private Lessons, you may choose to focus on my Kilnwork Curriculum. This path is geared towards a student who wants to eventually be a self sufficient Glass Artist. Learn a solid foundation of proper Shop Etiquette and Safety in Kilnwork. Learn a basic vocabulary of techniques and build on them each time.
