Lampworking Level 1: 4 Weeks with Soft/Moretti/Murano Glass

​

Lampworking is basically miniature glassblowing. In this thrilling hands-on class, students use bright and colorful rods of glass to make stringers, twisty stringers, tiger beads, dot beads, raked beads, and figurines. Level 2 introduces more color and shaping techniques. Level 3 introduces hollow beads, more figurines, and a tiny ewer. Level 4 is guided practice in which students go crazy with their own ideas (within reason, of course). Additional Levels and Private Lessons available upon request.
